What is Microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup tattoo for your eyebrows. It is done with a handheld tool with a single blade (more like tiny needles in a row) to create hair-like strokes by scrapping into the first layer of your skin, with pigment, into your eyebrow hairs or on your brow bone if no hair is visible. Microblading is not for everyone. People with combo to oily skin are not great candidates for this service due to their natural oils pushing the pigment out faster, so fading and lines blurring together usually occur. People with older/mature skin are also not great candidates for this service due to thinning skin. Microblading can last up to 18 months before needing to do a touch-up.



What is Ombre/ Powder Brows?

Ombre/Powder brows are also known as powder brows or micro shading. This is a semi-permanent makeup tattoo for your eyebrows that uses a different technique with a tool like a tattoo machine. This machine does not go as deep into the skin as a tattoo machine does. This technique creates a pixelated shaded look that gives a “makeup” powdered appearance to the brows. The powder brow technique does go slightly deeper into the skin which means it can last up to 1-3 years! This is a better option for those that are a combo of oily skin types and older/mature skin types.

What is a Combo brow?

Combo brows are a combination of both hair strokes and shading. Hair-like strokes are either put at the start of the bros and then faded into a filled-in or shaded look or hair-like strokes are put throughout the eyebrow with a little bit of shading.
